The mentorship
most people wish they had.
Finally exists.
People don't wake up looking for coaching or leadership development.
They wake up overwhelmed. Isolated. Carrying more than they should.
Bettermeant has reimagined mentorship for modern work and life — giving people the meaningful support they need to grow without carrying it all alone.
The core problem
the way we work has changed.
the way we support people hasn't.
Most traditional support was built for a different world of work. Training gives us more skills. Consultants bring expertise. Coaches help us think. But the challenges we're navigating rarely fit neatly into one of those boxes.
What we're often given
More tools, frameworks, advice, and expertise.
What we actually need
The right support for the moment we're in. Sometimes that's perspective. Sometimes expertise. Sometimes a tool, a push, or someone to help us figure it out alongside us.
The reality
Growth doesn't happen in a workshop or a once-a-month conversation. It happens in the messy middle, while we're leading, deciding, building, and doing the work.
The Bettermeant belief
Support should flex with you and what you need, when you need it.
if any of this feels like you, you're in the right place.

The shift that happens with the right support.
From isolation
↓
Real support
One person who knows your whole story and shows up as what you need.
From white-knuckling

Confidence
Making decisions with clarity instead of just getting through them.

Momentum
Finally closing the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.
Mentorship used to mean something.
We're bringing it back.
For most of human history, people didn't navigate work and life alone. They had villages. Guilds. Apprenticeships. Extended families. Faith communities. Elders who walked alongside them — not as a scheduled resource, but as a constant, trusted presence.
Real mentorship wasn't a program. It was a relationship. Someone who knew your whole story. Who showed up before you asked. Who helped you grow into hard things instead of just getting through them.
Somewhere along the way, that relationship got lost. It got replaced by a 30-minute coffee chat with a senior colleague. By a "future manager" who was too busy to show up. By a formal mentoring program that matched names on a spreadsheet and called it done. Mentorship became a box to check — and the real thing quietly disappeared.
Modern work filled the gap with specialists. Coaches for confidence. Consultants for strategy. Trainers for skills. HR for compliance. Each one valuable. None of them designed to hold the whole person — the leader and the human, the business and the life, the hard week and the big decision.
Bettermeant was built to bring real mentorship back. Not as nostalgia — but rebuilt for the complexity of today's workers, leaders, organizations, and humans.
We didn't create Meantorship™ because we wanted a new category. We created it because the word "mentorship" had been hollowed out — and people deserved the real thing. So we built it.
What replaced real mentorship
What Bettermeant rebuilt
Real mentorship — the original kind — rebuilt for today's workers, leaders, organizations, and humans.
so we built something different.
Support isn't one thing. Neither is Mentorship™.
What traditional support offers
One-hour sessions, usually twice a month
A specialized lens — coach sees coaching problems, consultant sees consulting problems
Shows up when you schedule them
You manage the relationships, reconcile the advice, carry the mental load
Support as a calendar event
Information has never been more available. Transformation has never been harder. That's because transformation doesn't happen through information — it happens through support. And real support is adaptive. It shifts based on what you actually need in this moment, not what's on the agenda for this session.
The word "mentorship" still exists. But somewhere along the way, the thing it described disappeared. Meantorship™ is our way of giving it back — with the depth, consistency, and presence it was always supposed to have.
Traditional support
you in the middle of it all.
Traditional support leaves you managing all the relationships and connecting the dots.
Meantorship™
one relationship. all the support.
What a Meantor™ offers
Sessions and real-time access in between — when something actually comes up
Holds your whole context — flexes between coaching, advising, strategy, and accountability as needed
Proactively checks in when something hard is coming
You manage one relationship. They manage the rest.
Support as a relationship
A coach is on your calendar. A Meantor™ is in your life.
Three kinds of Meantorship™.
One for every situation.
These aren't pricing tiers. They're three different kinds of mentorship — each one designed for a different life situation. Find the one that sounds like you.
